Justin graduated from the University of San Diego. After his time in San Diego, Justin returned home and began his career at First Western Properties in 2006. In 2014, he became a Principal owner and Vice President of the company. Justin has developed a reputation for his expertise in tenant and landlord representation, as well as pre-leasing new developments across the Puget Sound market. Throughout his time at First Western Properties he has achieved “Top Producer of the Year” 7 times and has earned CoStar’s “Seattle/Puget Sound Broker Power Award” 5 times. Philip is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder. He worked for Sullivan Hayes Brokerage for ten years as a BrokerAssociate before he and Joe David formed David/Hicks Brokerage. The focus of David/Hicks Brokerage was to provide services to retailers and property owners in all facets of retail real estate. Since the inception, Philip has grown the company to include 15 broker associates whose primary focus is on the representation of landlords and tenants. In 2008, the natural progression of the business turned into a merger with Allen Lampert of Lampert Properties – to form David, Hicks & Lampert Brokerage. Mike Sims

PRINCIPLE MID AMERICA REAL ESTATE

Mike Sims has 30 years of experience in the areas of retail tenant representation, shopping center development, excess property disposition, project leasing, land sales and assemblage. Over the course of his career, Sims has completed over 900 transactions totaling more than 20 million square feet of space.

Prior to founding Mid-America Real Estate - Minnesota, LLC in 2008, Mr. Sims worked for United Properties in Bloomington, Minnesota, as a vice president and consistent top producer, where he focused on tenant representation, new business development, leasing and land sales throughout the upper Midwest.

Mr. Sims embarked on his real estate career in the mid-eighties in Arizona, working for a land brokerage company. Upon his return to Minneapolis, he worked with a local real estate company as a preferred developer for a national retailer.

Mr. Sims has provided commercial real estate services to a variety of local and national tenants. A partial list of retail clients he has worked with include: Walmart, Sam’s Club, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Nordstrom Rack, Giordano’s, Michael’s, Aspen Dental, CVS and Sprint. Development clients include Ryan Companies, Opus and Gatlin Development Company.

Paul Grossman

Paul brings over twelve years of retail real estate experience with a focus on servicing client needs in both landlord and tenant representation, primarily across the metro-Boston landscape. While at CBRE, Paul has been advising retailers on their expansion such as True Food Kitchen, Uno Pizzeria & Grill, Moxie's Grill & Bar, Water Grill, Bank of America, MiniLuxe, Verts Mediterranean, and solidifying over 16 locations for Comcast Xfinity. Grossman and his team have worked successfully on high profile urban street front landlord assignments throughout Boston, Cambridge and Providence, as well as major project leasing such as Tuscan Village in Salem, NH (a 1.4M SF super regional mixed-use development), 3rd Ave in Burlington MA (a 550,000 SF, Wegman's-anchored, ground-up development), and Lakeway Commons in Shrewsbury, MA (a Whole Foods anchored, ground-up retail and residential project).

Drew Chorney

Drew is the Nashville Retail Team Leader, specializing in tenant representation, development pre-leasing, consulting and agency leasing. The primary role of the Nashville Retail Team is to successfully assist retailers and developers in locating, evaluating and negotiating existing retail locations and build-to-suit transaction and land development deals in and around Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi, Southwest Virginia, West Virginia, and occasionally Michigan. The team utilizes its collective and expansive expertise in identifying optimal retailer site selection, leveraging agency leasing opportunities, evaluating sites and negotiating deal structures. If a retail client has a specific build-to-suit need, the team has established an extended network of highly qualified development partners that meet the competencies required for single-tenant, and/or multi-tenant projects. Experience Drew started his career with CBRE in Detroit, joined The Shopping Center Group from 2009 2012 to 2014. In 2014, Drew ventured out to Michigan, relocating to Nashville in 2009 where he to 2012 before returning to CBRE in Nashville from be a partner at RightSite Partners LLC, a boutique tenant representation and build-to-suit development company where he worked for a year before joining JLL in May of 2015. In his career, Drew has performed over 500 real estate transactions, both representing retail occupiers and property owners. Working primarily on retail assignments, Drew has also has experience in mixed-use project consulting, including multi-family, office and medical office. Drew was named CBRE’s National Retail Rookie of the Year, and has been named multiple times to Costar’s Power Broker

Paul Bryant

PARTNER, MID AMERICA REAL ESTATE

Paul Bryant brings more than thirty years of diverse real estate experience to Mid-America Real Estate Corporation as an urban leasing and development specialist. In this capacity, Bryant has been involved in the development of retail properties as well as tenant and product representation.  His area of concentration has been urban Chicago and the near surrounding suburbs.  Additionally, he has executed tenant representation assignments throughout the United States.

Bryant has been involved in more than 350 transactions representing over 2,200,000 square feet.  The aggregate value of these transactions exceeds $175 million.  In 2005, Bryant completed over 50 transactions totaling over 500,000 square feet of space, representing an aggregate value in excess of $45 Million. In 2005, Bryant was voted Retail Broker of the year by the Sun-Times. Prior to joining Mid-America, Bryant was the top producing retail professional in the Chicago office of Grubb & Ellis in 1993 and 1994.
